Sara Barry is a qualified counsellor and a member of the BACP. She helps counselling women traumatized by childbirth in our project Birth Trauma Counselling.

 Martha Jesty is in charged of the UK office for Help Women and Children and is Head of the project Birth Trauma Counselling. She is a member of the BACP and author of Real Healing After Ceasarean, a book written to help women traumatized by childbirth and also to raise money for this charity.

Jo Maynar is a qualified counsellor and a member of the BACP. She helps counselling women traumatized by childbirth in our project Birth Trauma Counselling.

Become a Volunteer

Our work at Birth Trauma Counselling is done exclusively by volunteers. You can get involved in many ways to help us run this project helping mothers traumatized by childbirth who are either suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, postnatal depression or other postnatal illnesses.

Become an office volunteer

If you can spare 4 hours a month to help us with office task, IT or any other skills, please contact us today, we need your valuable help.

Distribuite our printed materials

Please feel free to photocopy or e-mail any of the flyers and brochures below to all your members, clients, parents, friends and family.

Displaying just one copy on your notice board will help the environment and will help us to save some money. Help Women and Children are run by volunteers, we do not have the budget to pay salaries, advertise or do printing. Please help us in this way to reach more women.

Please contact us should you need bigger quantities for any of your organizations big events.

Are you a counsellor?
