Become a Partner
Birth Trauma Counselling is a project of Help Women and Children, a support group run by volunteers that helps women suffering from postnatal traumas, childhood abuse and neglect in the UK and Peru. When you become a partner you improve the life of a mother and her family forever.
Our work in the UK
• Providing face-to-face and telephone counselling at our premises.
• Helping churches, schools, health clinics by providing free counselling services for the community.
• Training health professionals, Christian leaders and those dealing with women in order to recognize early signs of distress.
Our work in Peru
• Helping women with different traumas by providing counselling and releasing children from poverty by finding sponsors to cover education costs.
How you can get involved
Becoming a Partner with just £3.99 per month will help two traumatized mothers to get the counselling they desperately need. By filling in the form on the left you will become one of our valuable partners, then proceed with your donations by clicking the Paypal button.

Do volunteer work in Peru
Sending Referals
GP surgeries, hospitals and clinics can refer their clients to us directly by sending their details on the form shown on the left hand side of this page.
Women will receive crisis counselling over the phone or face-to-face for a maximum of 3 sessions. If they wish to continue long term counselling we will offer them a list of counsellors in their area.
To make a referral please choose the option: making a referral and then fill in the details on your organization on Your Adress.
